    Blue Lens Cover

The Blue is not too dark and not too light. Just about right. $15 for a clear piece of plastic, well pool owners know everything for a pool is way overpriced. I will recommend adding a dimmer to that 500w light. Check out the new Lutron Caseta Wireless 600/150-Watt In-Wall Dimmer with Pico Remote Control Kit. Works great.

  • Doesn't seem to fit Pentair lights...but is better than nothing...

The only reason I would recommend it is because there isn't another option...that I know of. It's just a cheap generic plastic colored light cover. There is no housing on the light to hold it on so basically it just suctions on the same way a contact lens sits on your eye. It has a tiny edge that is intended to fill a slot but the Pentair light itself doesn't have that slot. So, you kind of have to give it a light squeeze to make it smaller than the light surface... then release and hope it grips the edge. Mine falls off sometimes when there is a lot of activity in the pool. Then if no one puts it back on immediately, it gets broken at the bottom of the pool. In my opinion Pentair lights aren't made to hold a cover...but since colored lights are crazy expensive, someone made this item as an after thought. Occasionally replacing it is cheaper & easier than buying an actual colored light. I like the color the cover adds to the pool as opposed to the starkness of a plain light. I'll deal with the quality & fit issues until something better comes along.Read full review

  • Pentair Kwik-Change Blue Pool Light Filter

Gives a nice bluish tint to the pool and cuts the glare of the white light. Its just a tint though so it doesn't turn the pool deep blue. Its very easy to put on and seems secure. I'm happy with the purchase and I might buy another color.

  • Simple and easy installation, changes the stark white to a soft blue, much more attractive

  • Dims light about 20%

Dims light about 20% Does not turn the spa dark blue, but does reduce the stark white light that I had previously. Sturdy and fits well.
